The duration of the Internship is three months minimum; maximum is six months.The Internship is UNPAID and full-time.
Interns work five days per week (35-40 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned
Telephone or interviews via skype will be scheduled for shortlisted candidates.
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background, the nature of specific tasks and activities, and the internship duration.Duties include the following:
1.Carry out substantive research.
2.Analyze, draft, and review documents.
3.Present data and information gathered from diverse sources to support the implementation of tasks and activities.
4.Support the preparation of briefing notes and fact sheets.
5.Development of information material, presentations, and toolkits.
6.Support the preparation of meeting/conference agendas and follow-up action points.
7.Assist with ad hoc meetings and prepare meeting minutes if required.
8.Support the drafting and preparation of official documents, such as diplomatic notes and letters.
9.Perform other duties as required.
