Our client, the fastest growing aquaculture start-up and one of the largest tilapia producers in East Africa is looking to recruit an Inventory Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be in charge of supervising the daily activities of the inventory control staff ensuring adequate controls and tracking of inventory across the company.
The ideal candidate MUST have more than 5 years’ experience as an inventory supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the inventory is properly tracked and adequate reporting is in place.
• Set reporting, templates and documentation that needs to be in place.
• Implementing and monitoring all inventory control processes and documents.
• Maintain records of all variances according to establish procedures and ensure accuracy of such records.
• Ensuring that all variances are explained.
• Administering all returns of fish inventory in case of any shortages and damages.
• Monitoring work of all inventory control personnel and ensuring achievement of all objectives and provide improvements to same if required.
• Determine and ensure optimal security of all inventory items.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stockroom locations.
• Ensuring that the systems and tools in place support the process.
• Manage all inventory transactions and provide required feedback to team as required.
• Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes.
Qualifications:
• Professional accounting designation from a recognized accounting program.
•
MUST
have more than 5 years of experience as an inventory supervisor.
• Experience in Accounts payable and accounts receivables.
• Preparation of financial statements and financial reports.
• Experience in Payroll systems and reporting.
• Great excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must
have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
Monthly Gross Salary
: Monthly gross of Ksh.80,000 - 90,000 (Approx. 800 – 900 USD) depending on individual skills and experience.
