Kisumu Specialists Hospital is looking to hire a dedicated, diligent and passionate IT Technician to join our team.Our ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and a hands-on experience with a different variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.IT Technician duties and responsibilities Installation of PC hardwareCheck and maintain computer hardware such as PC, printers, mouses and keyboardsInstall, configure and manage software and their functions according to specificationsDevelop and maintain local networksBe part of a team running and maintaining the hospital ERP systemEnsure security and privacy of networks and computer systemsAssist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardwareTroubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerMaintain records/logs of repairs and fixesMaintain hardware and software inventoryIdentify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary IT Technician requirements Diploma in Computer Science/ IT, engineering or similar relevant fieldProblem solver and attention to detailsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational and time-management skillsHands on experience with diverse computer systems and networksIn depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principlesPrevious working experience as IT Technician for not less than two yearsExperience working in a hospital/clinic set up will be an added advantageCertification as IT Technician will be a big plus
