This role requires a person who is well versed to convert topics into knowledge/factsheets / basic concepts that are contributing to the needs of the sector. The individual will be required to liaise with sector boards on policy change and package the information in simple language to be shared with businesses. The documentation of best practices will support the adoption of sustainable business practices within the private sector. The candidate has to have the ability to conduct research and document case studies with an impact on the companies bottom-line (profits), the environment (planet), and the community (people).
Skills & Criteria
• Experienced in knowledge management
• Good communication and organizational skills, with demonstrated evidence of capacity to produce and present good reports.

• Analytic capacity and demonstrated ability to process, analyses and synthesize complex, technical information from different disciplines.

• Active relationship builder and ability to think outside the box.

Qualifications
• A bachelor university degree in a subject related to business/communication or a diploma with 2 years’ experience in lieu

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in knowledge management and communications

• Solid understanding of sustainability, inclusivity and climate change issues

• Demonstrated experience in developing content that clearly communicates ideas and experience in media, web, print production, and audio-visual productions

Responsibilities

• Organising roundtables, events, meetings to meet and work on topics with coalition of the willing.
• Document best practices in the country to encourage adoption

• Research on sustainable business practices and work with consultants to document documentaries to showcase success stories on adoption of sustainable business practices.

• Mobilize resources from stakeholders to maintain and or run platform and projects

• Translating issue / topic into need based ‘solution’

• Organise, facilitate and provide the knowledge & partners for the thematic platform in order for it to run independently

• Conduct research and document sector trends

Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 2 years

English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
