Our technical stack is Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Redis and Python/Tensorflow.We are looking for a Lead Backend Developer to develop the technical foundation of our career development platform.You would be joining an ambitious and high-performing team of professionals with experience from working in fast-growing startups in Europe, Africa and the US.What you will be doing in this role:Develop our technical foundation, including APIs, algorithms, database architecture/queries and AWS-based server infrastructurePlan the application architecture, technical specifications and sprint tasks together with technical product leadershipCoordinate tasks and support the work of 2-3 more junior developers together with Head of EngineeringWhat we are looking for5+ years of industry experience in a backend engineering role, with a mastery of at least one backend web technology (preferably RoR or Python)Solid knowledge of backend development fundamentals.
