What we are looking for We are looking for a Local Sales Lead who will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our horticultural farm produce i.e.
potatoes, cabbages, leeks and onions among others in the local market.
This position requires a proactive, customer-focused individual with strong market knowledge and a passion for agriculture.
What does the job involve Develop and execute sales strategies Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for produce Expand customer base in local markets Ensure consistent visibility of produce in the market Develop loyal partnerships with key market vendors Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Identify and capitalize on market opportunities Build and maintain relationships with market vendors and customers Coordinate with production team to ensure product availability Monitor market trends and competitor activity Provide detailed sales reports and performance analysis Qualifications A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or any relevant courses.
Solid understanding of local sales market dynamics Minimum 3 years experience in handling high tonnages of farm produce and pushing it to the market Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English Confidentiality, integrity and professionalism Strong interpersonal skills and negotiation skills Flexibility, adaptability, accountability and ability to deliver on set deadlines Benefits TBC
