Our client is worldwide leader in the manufacture and supply of drainage technology. They seek to hire an experienced logistics officer who will be responsible for managing the logistics of the branch.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Monitor cargo movement processes
Work with an in-house sales team to improve the processing of customers’ orders.
Placing purchase orders and coordinating the logistics with suppliers
Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
Coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
Preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies
Monitoring stock and managing waste

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors’ degree in business administration, supply chain management or other relevant fields.
5 years’ work experience as logistics coordinator
Experience in customer service will be appreciated
Knowledge of laws, regulations, SGS procedures
Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
Knowledge of Pastel, MS Office package
