A well-established Shipping & Logistics company is looking for an experienced and dedicated Logistics Sales Executive to join their team. The desired candidate should possess outstanding sales experience & honed customer service skills. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Business and at least 3 years’ sales experience in logistics.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Masters degree is an added advantage

3-5 years’ experience in Shipping, Logistics and Forwarding environments

Professional certification and membership

Excellent knowledge in Ms Office and other software

Familiarity with BRM and CRM

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record

Ability to create presentations tailored to customer needs

Knowledge of the commodity market especially fertilizer, steel, grain, chemicals, gas, warehousing

Reporting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Develop and align to sales growth strategies and plans
Gain in-depth knowledge of business services and value proposition

Identify and map business strength and customer needs

Manage individual selling process

Researching business opportunities, viable income streams, developing pipelines.

Continuously improve customer satisfaction

Customer Relationship Management

Effective stakeholder management

Adherence to credit and other policies

Strong negotiation skills, business proposals and contracts

Effective conflict resolution
