We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales/Marketing officer to join our growing team. The individual in this role would be responsible for calling prospective customers, explaining our product, and guiding them through their purchase process. We are seeking a candidate who is persuasive, energetic, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Lynkie Events Limited is a corporate Event Management Company Incorporated in Kenya. We are specialized in end to end management of an event including conceptualization, design, planning, supplier management and onsite organization of an event. Lynkie Events works with a young, talented, vibrant and energetic team who bring new ideas to the table and life to every event

Duties & Responsibilities.
Marketing (PR);
• planning, developing and implementing PR strategies.
• use different channels to optimize campaign's reach and success
• Developing creative briefs and communicating strategic objectives to clients.
• Shaping new projects as they come in.
• Identifying production resource needs via meetings and the firm’s project management system.
• sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
• Develops and puts in place communication campaigns and strategies for clients
• Responds to media and public enquiries
• Arranges interviews with media outlets
• Prepares and distributes press releases
• managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
• organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours.
• Must be a confident communicator and presenter
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude

Direct Sales;
• Hitting sales targets
• Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
• Facilitate cold and warm calls to prospective leads; schedule and follow through on calls with leads and current customers.
• Answer all lead and customer questions accurately; prioritize and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
• Promote specific products
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend the customer lifetime value
• Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.
• Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review.

Qualifications.
• Proven work experience, 2-3 years in or related field.
• Diploma/Degree in or related field.
• Track record of hitting sales targets.
• A motivated, driven attitude Sales-driven, results-driven, and target-driven attitude Aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.
• Organized work ethic Ability to meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Able to arrange and run meetings with direction, leaving with clear objectives and tasks
• Keen ability to multi-task; self-starter
• Strong team collaboration skills
• A strong vocabulary, prolific reader
• An ability to grasp and communicate THE message
• Teachable spirit
• Sense of humour
