Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on school buses and vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections and tire rotations.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and recommend or perform appropriate repairs.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs,services, parts used and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Respond to vehicle breakdowns and emergencies, providing onsite troubleshooting and coordinating towing when necessary.
Manage spare parts inventory and support training of junior mechanics or apprentices as needed.
