Medical Sales (Customer Relationship) Officer (CRO)

Position Summary
The CRO will
manage and control all aspects of sales and marketing. They must be competitive
pharmaceutical sales representative who can thrive in a fast-paced business
environment. The pharmacy sales rep will act as the key link between the
company and healthcare professionals with the aim of meeting sales targets. Their
goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s
pharmaceutical and medical products and maximize sales growth
Major
duties and responsibilities
1. Services existing accounts, obtains
orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade
factors.
2. Adjusts
content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade
factor.
3. Focuses
sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
4. Checks, receives and liaises with inventory manager to
process customer orders by referring to price lists and product
literature, and
coordinates delivery of specific customer orders via the Potent Logistics
Management (PLMS)
5. Keeps
management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily
call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
6. Monitors
competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products,
new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
7. Recommends
changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive
developments.
8. Resolves
customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing
reports; making recommendations to management.
9. Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
participating in professional societies.
10. Provides
historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
11. Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
• A relevant BSc Diploma or Certificate
• Experience of a minimum of three (3) years in a similar position
• Excellent communication skills.
• Creative thinking skills.
• The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation.
• Good sales ability.
• Working knowledge of relevant computer software.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers.
