Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities
a) Scouting and identifying potential clients with advertising needs, prepare proposals and convert clients.
b) carrying out background checks and surveys on prospective clients to determine their needs, history in advertising, and preferences.
c) Contacting clients through arranged meetings, emails, and calls to offer their services.
d) Create Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Sales plan. Maintain a strong sales funnel with at least 80% of mobile advertising clients within the market.
e) Preparing and delivering sales pitches to clients and being able to convince a customer to buy an ad space or time in the course of their sales presentation.
f) Help clients determine their advertising needs in line with our service offering. Send daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly report to clients based on their requirement. Have regular feedback meeting with clients to determine their level of satisfaction.
g) Provide insights to the Product team on advertising trends and best practices in line with local market. Keep tabs of competition and help us stay ahead.
h) Setting sales targets and standards for the company, as well as providing the required motivation and strategy in winning clients over.
i) Analyzing sales records for the month. Work with finance to generate sales invoices on timeline basis. Follow-up with clients on payment.
j) Maintaining good working relationships with new and existing clients to establish and increase customer base.
k) Conducting price negotiations with clients on behalf of the company to ensure favorable prices for both our business and the clients.
l) Closing of sales deals and secure contract approval as well as other important paperwork.
m) Reviewing advertising services to ensure they meet the requirements of the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant Certification related to Sales, Media, and Technology.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in Digital /Online Media and Advertising Sales.

The person we are looking for must;
a) Relevant work experience in Mobile Advertising Sales.
b) Must display an understanding of the Mobile advertising ecosystem and should have worked in a relevant/related industry.
c) Proven track record in Sales of advertising and media slots. Strong brand and agency network and connections within the local market.
d) Excellent oral and written communication skills
e) Excellent customer service skills
f) Ability to use relevant sales and reporting tools.
g) Must be very passionate and well versed in sales
h) Target driven and desire to achieve Key results
i) Excellent negotiation skills
j) Ability to persuade clients
k) Ability to build good relationships with clients
l) A positive, confident and determined approach
