The Motion Graphic Designer/Animator will collaborate with our creative team to design and execute digital content for Xpressy online content. We are seeking an experienced, creative individual who thinks like a designer first and can then complete that vision with professional motion graphics for retail digital campaigns. The position reports directly to the Director.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with Creative team to develop and execute campaign deliverables.
Research retail market trends and translate into motion graphics.
Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated understanding of typography, color, and layout.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (I.e. After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Ability to take brand books; style guides; storyboards; scripts and translate them into impactful motion graphics.
Desire to take real ownership of your role on each project and see to it that all details are thought-out.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with supervisors and other designers.
Meticulous organization of assets and projects.
Must be a self-starter.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Willing to sometimes work overtime/ weekends when under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Diploma in Motion Graphics or other relevant field.
Minimum of 1-2 years Motion Graphics/Animation experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (notably After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Working knowledge of Premiere and Maya is a plus.
Character animator & 3D Design skills a plus.
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to translate concept into motion graphics.
