The Metis team is looking for a highly motivated leader to spearhead the systemization of smooth operations for all Metis activities. This person will enable hundreds of thousands of youth to access an equitable and excellent education because of local leaders and innovations supported by Metis.
About the Role

You will be the organization-building force within Metis. You will build all protocols and systems to enable high-quality delivery of Metis programs, ensuring that leaders have the tools, resources, and community they need to create positive change within the education system. You will also enable our team to function optimally and be able to deliver on the Metis mission.

Responsibilities

Create streamlined systems and procedures for optimal operations
? Build procedures for learning and evaluation, human resources, finance, and governance, and support with the overall capacity of our team to codify their work.

? Enhance systems of organization on our shared Google Drive, and ensure that Metis moves more like a well oiled machine. Strengthen operational management

? Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop in-depth operational analysis to drive improvements

? Develop and maintain detailed budgets and timely financial projections

? Establish and maintain a highly capable team and monitor their performance against strategic initiatives

? Provide guidance and support to the development of projects, programs, and proposals by asking key questions and ensuring programs and operations efficiently coalign

? Provide overall support for leadership development of staff, protocol trainings, effectiveness

? Ensure compliance with country standards on Human Resources, Security, NGO requirements, and oversee contractors on audit and tax requirements

? Ensure Metis programs for beneficiaries are best in class, reflect best practices, are cost effective and efficient, and provide an excellent customer service experience for Metis staff members, volunteers, beneficiaries

? Anticipate potential bottlenecks, provide innovative solutions to troubleshoot challenges, and balance programmatic emergencies with technical constraints

? Identify, assess, and inform the Executive Director and Board of Directors of internal and external issues that affect the organization Ensure strategic impact

? Be part of the global team to design and execute Metis’ growth strategy

? Be a part of team program management and design elements to strengthen the outcomes of program

? Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs, services and projects to build capacity and strengthen sustainability

? Be up to speed on programs happening within the day, week, month and participate as necessary. Provide strategic support to program staff and lead, facilitate, and teach where you see gaps. Support Metis team members to high performance and growth.

? Create systems for check-in, professional development and accountability on reaching individual and collective goals.
