Principal Supply Chain Management Officer

The Principal Supply Chain Management Officer, will be responsible to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and review supply chain management policies, strategies, plans and programs.

Manage procurement of goods, works and services while ensuring compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015, regulations, circulars and internationally recognized procurement procedures.

Preparation of procurement plans, bid documents, advertisement of tenders,requests for quotations and proposals.

Coordinate receiving, opening and evaluation of tenders, quotations and proposals;

Act as secretary to the procurement and asset disposal committee.

Provide professional opinion to the accounting officer on procurement and asset disposal processes.

Manage receipt of goods and services, and processing of payment approvals;

Oversee registration of suppliers.

Oversee the management of stores inventory.

Spearhead submission of quarterly, biannually and annual reports to Government Agencies and donors.

Liaise with users on development of specifications to ensure clear communication of need.

Carry out market research into new and alternative sources.

Job Requirements
Required education
: Diploma, Associate's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 5 years

Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
