Job Responsibilities:

Liaise
with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
Monitor
business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company
goods and services.
Identify potential suppliers
based on project requirements.
Nurture
relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company.
Identifying
and researching potential new suppliers.
Manage
an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
Processing
purchase orders to acquire goods.
Assessing
total costs of company purchases.
Developing
and implementing strategies to procure, store, and distribute goods or
services and maintain stock levels.

Qualifications:

7-10
years of functional experience.
Familiarity
with sourcing or purchasing from both local and international suppliers.
Bachelor’s
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Professional
Certification in Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge of an Oracle based ERP is an added advantage.
