Product Development Specialist

The role primarily handles the Mobile and Channel Product development support
functions. The mobile products include voice, SMS and data products whereas the
channel products include but not limited to value added services and premium
services.

Responsibilities

Actively managing mobile and related channels product development activities such as
daily prioritization, feature design, development, and testing.
Overseeing the product testing and iteration with a strong focus on user-centred-design.
This means understanding the customer needs and being the voice of the
customer.
Serving as customer and business proxy to the engineering team, communicating specific
product visions, strategies and interests to the engineering team.
Overseeing the implementation of the approved change requests and service improvements
Monitoring the customer experience for internal and external users of the developed
products and advice on necessary improvements to the user experience.
Championing innovations along the mobile product lines that expand the range of products available to our customers
Communicating with stakeholders on the mobile and channel products product, their
development, improvements, performance and opportunities.
Oversee product support activities and initiative
Engaging marketing, communications and other relevant colleagues to support the
successful launch of products and ensure optimum visibility and utilization of
budgets and investments on the product
