A manufacturer of cosmetics, household and personal care products is looking for an experienced production technician.

Job Description

You
will perform duties related to the manufacturing of quality personal and
household care products by ensuring the set-up, operation, monitoring and minor
maintenance of manufacturing equipment in a safe and productive manner. Work
with co-workers and Shift Coach in developing processes, and SOPs for each
product in the company’s line.

Your
role will include:
Day to
day Production Activities
Management
and Coordination of material inputs required for the production
Manage
allocation of production workers for the production activities
Ensure
production output are in compliance with the quality and regulatory
standards
Conduct
in process Quality assurance of the products
Assist
in the sales of the products as and when required.

Qualifications:
Certificate
or Diploma in industrial chemistry or related field.
More
than 2 years’ experience in actual formulation of the target products.
Preference will be given to candidates who have actual hands on experience
in a busy FMCG production plant.
Experience
with sourcing raw materials and determining their quality before
manufacturing can start
Mechanical
aptitude to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment
Driving
and sales experience will be an added advantage
