To support community groups by providing guidance on financial literacy, savings, group organization, and leadership, while mentoring and monitoring the progress of project supported financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Build relationships with communities and conduct workshops to promote financial literacy and improve household income.
Train community members on budgeting, savings, and responsible financial practices.
Collect and analyze data from VSLA groups to support planning and reporting.
Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to improve access to financial services.
Identify barriers to financial inclusion and support the development of practical remedies.
Monitor progress, prepare reports, and contribute to work planning and implementation.
Key Qualifications/Skills/Competencies/Experience Required
A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Cooperative Management, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
At least three years of proven experience in managing Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC), Self-Help Groups, or similar roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in information and communication technology (ICT)
Ability to operate a motorcycle with a valid riding license.
