Job Description
Manage the transition of students from the high school scholarship programme into the tertiary education scholarship stream.
Oversee budget planning, utilization, and reporting for the tertiary education programme, ensuring proper controls are in place.
Track student attendance and academic performance, initiate remedial interventions, and compile timely monthly, quarterly, and annual programmatic reports.
Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, TVETs, and other tertiary institutions hosting KCBF scholars, as well as with employers, internship providers, and industry mentors.
Develop and maintain a database of internship placements, employment outcomes, and career progression of scholars.
Implement a structured mentorship programme for tertiary scholars in line with KCB Foundation standards.
Collaborate with the Enterprise Development team to support scholar transitions into employment or entrepreneurship through the 2jiajiri initiative.
Coordinate career development activities such as employability workshops, career fairs, and professional development forums.
Lead the design and delivery of an effective alumni engagement strategy to foster long-term connections with the Foundation.
Organize alumni-led events, mentorship activities, networking sessions, and community service initiatives.
Promote and track alumni involvement in mentorship, volunteering, and philanthropic support of the programme.
Academic & Professional
Bachelor's degree in education/social sciences/Humanities or any relevant area
