Job Description
Public Relations Manager Duties:
1. Coordinate all public relations activities
2. Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
3. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsor ships and advertising on an on-going basis.
4. Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
5. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
6. Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Requirements:
1. Proven 10 years and above working experience in public relations required
2. BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
3. Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
6. Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail
7. Possess the ability to keep information confidential
