We are looking for a Purchasing Driver responsible for operating the company vehicle to safely transport staff, materials, and documents while also managing local procurement tasks, sourcing, purchasing, and receiving goods and supplies as needed.

Procurement and logistics implementation
Procurement of production materials
Carry out raw materials and spare parts procurement tasks according to the procurement plan, and check the specifications and quantity on-site to ensure that they match the production requirements.
Implement the "three-store comparison" principle to control costs. For bulk materials, quality assurance, and quality inspection reports should be requested to strictly control quality risks.
Assist in the development of suppliers, and participate in capacity assessment and field research.
Timely transportation
Plan the optimal procurement route according to the procurement requirements, deliver the required materials to the warehouse/production line on time, and avoid stoppage of production due to lack of materials.
Precision instruments and vulnerable parts should be packed with shockproof packaging, and the loading and unloading process should be supervised to ensure the integrity of materials.
Report sudden faults quickly, and coordinate standby vehicles or temporary procurement channels to ensure production continuity.
Vehicle and safety management
Special maintenance
Check the oil, tires, and brake system every day (focus on heavy-duty vehicles), replace the filter element and coolant regularly, and adapt to high-frequency transportation.
Record the maintenance log, report abnormal oil consumption and abnormal sound in time, and prohibit working with faults.
Compliance operations
Observe the factory speed limit and no smoking regulations in loading and unloading areas;
Manage vehicle annual inspection and insurance to ensure compliance.
Manufacturing collaboration responsibilities
Supply chain support
For the warehouse, delivered purchase requirements and delivery orders, and assisted with inventory counting and receipt.
Feedback suppliers on delivery problems (broken packaging, batch mismatch) and promote the optimization of working systems.
Production emergency response
Urgently execute production line material shortage procurement.
Requirements & Qualifications
Valid Kenyan Class B Driver's License.
Minimum of 5 years driving experience in Nairobi and nearby counties.
Familiarity with industrial procurement routes in Nairobi and nearby counties.
Strong knowledge of Nairobi roads, traffic patterns, estates, and industrial areas.
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Basic purchasing knowledge, and cost awareness; skilled in using driving recorder and GPS.
Strong sense of responsibility, and good communication skills.
