Job Description
At EIDU, we create a mobile learning platform for young children in poor areas where it’s hard for the children to get the high-quality education that they deserve. For our operations in Nairobi, we are looking for a QA Engineer to work with our product and engineering team to deliver a great app experience.
You will
Join our team in Westlands, Nairobi
Manage and improve our QA process to ensure the quality of our mobile apps and APIs
Investigate and appropriately report bugs to our teams in Berlin and Nairobi
Assist our customer support team with technical expertise
You have
A strong drive to make the world a better place with the help of software
A technical education (in Computer Science or a related field)
3 or more years of experience in testing software and automated testing, preferably experience testing mobile apps and services on Android
Debugging skills and the ability to identify causes of test failures
Solid knowledge of QA methodology, processes and tools
Ability to work in an energizing environment with changing requirements
Ability to autonomously solve problems, as well as collaborate with direct and extended teams
Excellent English communication skills
Preferably experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
