Brief:
Our Client is a technology company that enables brands to delight their customers with innovative, customer-centric solutions, giving them more time for what really matters.
The role will involve testing of new and existing technology solutions built in house as well as managing the customer User Acceptance Testing sign-off process. It will collaborate within the Business Development team, Software Development teams, and support teams within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Role of the candidate:
Execution of integration and test activities, problem resolution and verifying that the deliverable products meet all program and customer requirements
Provide key input to design and execution and successful go-live of new customer projects
Execute all test scripts, including regression test scripts
Customize and run test automation tools and simulators
Technical system tests which includes Internal and external integration points are tested
Document problems and issues utilizing appropriate test using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes, reporting frequently on quality and resolution metrics including historical analyses of test results
Work with the development team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
Execute Performance and stress tests against main deliveries
Inform the Business Development Manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
Provide sign-off of the test execution
Provide technical support, and testing document, to the Client together with the build
Replicate Production issues and assist support in end to end log level investigation
Be a core contributor towards the implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Document test procedures to ensure that they are repeatable and comply with standards
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality

Desired Qualities:
Solid understanding of API Testing
Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
Experience with Agile and Scrum, Kanban methodologies in a high paced environment
Hold a minimum of 3 years’ experience in:
Testing complex software systems
Writing and executing automated test scripts
Managing testing environments
Performance and stress testing
