Job Summary

Our client, a global bus and truck Manufacturing Company in the Automotive sector is making its grand entrance in Kenya. They are seeking to recruit a quality control supervisor to join their team.

Minimum Qualification:Bachelor
Experience Level:Mid level
Experience Length:3 years
Job Description

The ideal
candidatemusthave a minimum of 3 years proven experience as a quality
control person in the automotive assembly industry. He/she will be required to
define all quality procedures for local content products acceptance according
to brand instructions, specifications and directives.

Key Responsibilities:
Support management in preparing, approving and
updating a complete set of procedures.
Support management elaborating on a quality control
plan suitable for automotive assembly.
Receiving complete sets of complete knocked down
(CKD) orders and prepare inspection procedures.
Perform inspection to all complete knockdown (CKD)
arrived in the assembly plant.
Define all quality procedures for local content
products acceptance according to brand instructions.
Prepare the claim process concerning all incompliances
detected in inspections.
Report incompliances on quality control aspects.
Make periodic tests and inspections of products
specified in the quality control plan.
Use equipment in accordance with their
instructions, clean up and maintain them.
Following the inspection on special tools in
assembly line reporting all relevant incompliances.

Qualifications:
Musthave a bachelor’s degree in Quality
Management/Engineering or a relevant field.
Musthave experience in the automotive assembly sector
i.e. Heavy commercial Vehicles.
Musthave complementary knowledge and experience in an
HSQE environment.
Proven experience and knowledge in advanced
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Musthave a driving license BCE.
Mustbe open to relocating to Thika.
Excellent communication skills, written and oral,
in English.
Mustbe organized, pro-active and autonomous and enjoy
teamwork.
Musthave the capacity to lead a team.

Monthly Gross Salary:Ksh.60,000 – 80,000/=
(Approx. 600 – 800 USD) depending on individual skills and experience.
Career Level:Lower Mid-Level.
Education:Bachelor’s Degree.
Location:Nairobi, Kenya.
