Applications are therefore invited from qualified candidates all across the country.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport in the development and implementation of student policies and regulationsOversee student services such as counseling, health services, career services and accommodationHandle student disciplinary matters and mediate conflictsAssess student needs and develop programs and initiatives to support student successProvide leadership and support for student organizations and activitiesCoordinate responses to campus emergencies and crises impacting studentsDevelop strategies for improving student retention and successWork closely with faculty, staff, parents, and other stakeholders to address student issues and concernsManage budgeting and resource allocation for student services and programsCoordinates extracurricular activities, clubs and programs that benefit student life Represents the institution in various meetings and events related to student affairsQualification & Competencies RequiredMaster's Degree in Sociology, Education, Psychology, Theology, Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration or any other relevant field.Over 5 years' experience in an educational administrative role preferredPrevious work experience in student's affair is an added advantage.Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.Comfortable administering consequences for violation of the code of conduct of academic integrity standardsExperience in creating and supporting students' social clubs and programs within the University.
