Job Description
Duties:
Receiving and processing reservations and customer inquiries through phone, emails and online channels
Handling any other tasks given by a reservations manager without hesitance
Ability to sell additional services and products for revenue increment
Maintaining records of all the bookings received on respective systems
Being able to persuade a direct booking by engaging a client fully that they'd feel all attention given to only them.
Ability to solve disputes of arising issues from partner hotels.
In cases of overbooking, it is important that an agent is able to provide quick solutions by offering alternatives
Being able to answer product and service questions from guests and partner hotels. One should have product knowledge
Handing over properly for any urgent tasks that need to be done urgently and make follow-ups the next day
Assisting customers choose among a variety of travel options
Reserving and taking payment for hotel rooms, transportation as well as other travel products
Checking on the availability of accommodations or transportation on a traveler's desired travel dates
Escalating or reporting important information to the respective persons
