Faustina holdings limited is currently setting up a roof top restaurant and bar in its establishment in Embakasi, Nairobi to be completed by end of September 2020.The company is in urgent need of the listed personnel below to help in setting up and running the restaurant and accommodation facilities. JOB TITLE RESTAURANT MANAGER
Reports to the restaurant supervisor will report to the general manager, accountant and the director.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Recruiting, training and supervising staff
• Managing budgets
• Planning menus
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
• Promoting and marketing the business
• Overseeing stock levels
• Ordering supplies
• Producing staff duty rosters
• Handling customer enquiries and complaints
• Taking reservations and handling room bookings
• Greeting and advising customers
• Problem solving
• Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
• Keeping statistical and financial records
• Assessing and improving profitability
• Setting targets
• Handling administration and paperwork
• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant and
guest houses.
Qualifications:
•
Education level
: A minimum of a diploma in hotel or hospital management from a recognized institution or a diploma in any other related field.

Experience
: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a restaurant management position.
