Review And Development Of The Kisumu County Wash-Ecc Network Strategic Plan At Habitat For Humanity International

THE CONSULTANCYThe objective of this consultancy is to support review and development of the Kisumu County WASH-ECC Network Strategic Plan.The Technical Committee shall be assisted by consultant contracted to support and facilitate the review of Strategic plan and TOR's. The Consultant shall work closely with the Technical Committee, which shall receive, review and approve all outputs.The Consultant will be guided by the Technical Committee in the strategic plan and TOR's review process and shall perform the following tasks:Undertake the review of the existing Strategic plan 2015-2019 and TOR's for discussion in order to determine their status of development and implementation and identify gaps and areas that require improvement.Present findings and recommendations to members of WASH-ECC Network and prioritize needs and next steps after consultations with county level stakeholders on best practices and lessons learnt to inform and recommend accordingly.Facilitate co-creation sessions with Technical Committee members and other stakeholders as relevant to amend Strategic plan and TOR'sFacilitate stakeholder consultation to receive views and validate outputs and prepare stakeholder consultation reports.Consideration of the devolved functions in water services and resources managementPrepare relevant documents to submit draft Strategic plan 2024-2029 and TOR's for endorsement and adoption.Support the presentation of draft documents and disseminationRegularly update the Technical Committee, the water department leadership on the implementation of the agreed work plan/scheduleDeliverable and TimingThis task duration is for two months. The consultant is expected to work very closely with the HFH Kenya and the County Government of Kisumu ( Kisumu WASH-ECC Network).Qualifications & ExperienceThe potential consultant should have the following qualifications:Experience in Water Resource ManagementPrevious experience in applied research / data collectionPrevious experience in WASH sector or related workAbility to communicate in both English and Kiswahili language is an added advantage.Excellent presentation and report writing skills.
