B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
B1: Overall purpose of the job:
This position is responsible for generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets with established specification and at set efficiencies for speed limiters/governors and any sales related duties
B2: Current duties of the job:
• Generating leads and updating on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
• Visiting, meeting and presenting to clients and potential clients to evaluate needs that push towards closure.
• Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients to evaluate needs that push towards closure.
• Answering client question about credit teams, products, prices and availability.
• Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Preparing weekly reports.
• Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
B3: Indicators of good performance of the job:
• Revenue achieved - Meeting set sales target
• Meeting with clients
• Pipeline on ERP (value and number)
• Number of meetings and presentations
• Number of calls to prospects
• Units sold
C. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
C1: Formal Education and Professional Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in business related course
• Successful previous experience as a sales person, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Committed to continuous education through in-house trainings workshops, seminars and conferences
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from strategy to close
• Strong business intellect and industry proficiency
C2: Relevant working experience:
• At least 2 years working in sale related field
C3: Responsibility for internal and external relations:
a. Internal: Managing Director er, Sales Manager, Regional Supervisor, Stock Coordinator, Account Managers, Sales Administrators, Accountant
b. External: Clients, KRA
D: OTHER INFORMATION
1. One weekly meeting; - Level 10 every Tuesday’s from 7:30-9.00AM
2. Departmental meeting and Trainings
3. Any other meeting planned and called upon to attend
4. Target: 30 speed limiters per month
5. Stationed – Mombasa and Nairobi
6. Retainer – 20,000 to be paid against performance – Fully paid in the first 3 months while on probation
7. Commission of 5% on revenue
