Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or similar customer-facing software engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in sales, including high volume, Software as a Service or Infrastructure as a Service, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software with a demonstrated track record in exceeding sales goals.
• Track record working with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, build business cases for migrations.
• Core insurance systems integration experience is an added advantage
• Track record working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and Independent Software Vendors.
• Demonstrated relationships C-level executives.
• Demonstrated success with commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams in large enterprises.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
About the Role
The Sales Engineer helps customers transform and evolve their insurance business through the use of Kakbima’s cloud and software infrastructure. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape
the future of businesses of all sizes using technology to connect with customers (policyholders), employees and partners.
As a Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility is to grow Kakbima’s market share across the enterprise account customer segment. You'll build executive-level relationships, and you're responsible for aligning our insurance solutions offerings to customer needs. You’ll be excellent at prospecting, qualifying, and leading a cross-functional team, while leveraging the right resources including sales engineering, inside sales, and partners to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical roadblocks.
• Manage the technical relationship with Kakbima’s customers, including overseeing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
• Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and prototype Kakbima’s product integrations in customer/partner environments.
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution, using best practices, on Kakbima.
• Partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Kakbima
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
