The Role:We are a high-quality
bakery keen to curve out a niche as the best bakery in Kenya by offering top
quality products and wonderful customer experience.
Our ideal candidate can supervise outlet sales staff, ensure that our shops are well presented, represent the company to B-to-B customers and has innovative ideas on how to increase our sales and market share.
The Person:You are enthusiastic, enterprising, a
go-getter, creative, a people-person, keen to detail, a good problem solver and
very well organized. You have at least 10 years’ experience in sales, of which
5 years is in a supervisory position. Experience with food sales is an
advantage, but affinity with our high-quality products is a must. You can
conceptualize marketing ideas, guide and manage a design service provider to
transform these ideas into attractive marketing materials and adverts. You are
keen to roll-up your sleeves and get to support others in the management team
as needed.
Computer literacy with practical use of MS-Office application
are
essential. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a
timely manner is key to success in this position. Experience with
social media posting and knowledge of graphics design software is
an added advantage.
Duties &
responsibilities:

Ensure all sales staff are well trained in customer service, product
knowledge and food hygiene.
·
Be aware of competitor activity and create/execute a marketing plan to grow
the business.
·
Manage performance of the outlets, monitor
attendance, product ordering, display, outlet image and implementation of
marketing strategies.
·
Conduct regular surveys on customer service and give recommendations.
·
Penetrate new markets to grow the customer base in the outlets as well
as in B2B, catering and events.
·
Plan all web,
SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising
campaigns, and manage an external party to execute these.
·
Propose and execute relevant promotions to increase sales
·
Design,
build and maintain our social media presence.
·
Measure
and report performance of shops and marketing activities
·
Act
as the liaison between customers and the rest of the organization i.e.
production, outlets, etc.
·
Oversee designing and maintenance of updated
marketing materials in the outlets, events, social media platforms etc.
including Facebook and Twitter.
