Sales Lead Generator Job Description Overview
The Sales Lead Generator is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to the Organization from the assigned region or area, reporting to the Sales Manager.
This candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including:
· - Cold Calling,
· - Marketing leads,
· -Previous prospect lists,
· - Discovery
· -Individual research.
A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!
Reports To: Sales Manager
The Lead Generator’s responsibilities and duties include:
· -To act as an ambassador for the business, and promote its product and solutions.
· - To be responsible for Cold Calling in the assigned areas and bring in Qualified leads that will lead to sales.
· - To work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Admin to ensure leads are generated within various assigned areas and mapped clients.
· -To achieve assigned targets captured from Cold Calling or using Previous Prospect lists from assigned area.
· -To inform potential clients on the company’s products and services.
· -To be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business in the assigned areas.
· -To attend all staff meetings and training sessions as and when required.
In addition to the above main responsibilities, the Lead Generator will be required to undertake any other task, deemed to be appropriate to the job role.
Qualifications
1.Communication Skills
-This job requires you to have top-notch communication skills, verbal especially.
-You need to be a good, smooth, calm, enthusiastic talker. At the same time, you can’t just babble when you first greet potential clients.
-You’ve got to be able to organize your thoughts to present a clear and convincing argument for the customers to pursue your service or products.
-You’ll also need effective writing skills to turn in reports and work on new phone scripts and electronic messages.
2. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills

3. -Audible and an ability to quickly learn the features and benefits of a product and a persistent attitude will help you land in this Lead Generation role.
4. -Has Integrity, hard-working and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets.
5. Good organizational and time management skills.
