Job Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidates main role will be effectively selling construction equipment, ensuring sales targets are met, all while aligning the said activities to the business strategic and operational objectives.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma

Experience Level: Mid level

Experience Length: 4 years

Job Description

Our Client, a well-known international brand in the motor sector, is seeking to recruit dynamic and driven sales representatives to join the team based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively selling products to achieve targets by driving the value proposition to the customer.
• Selling key features and attributes of the products and demonstrating value to the customers.
• Proactively drive the deal process through all the stages, providing all the necessary documentation to conclusion.
• Following up on Customer satisfaction with equipment, after closing deals and handing over to After Sales service.
• Building strong working ties with cross functional teams to ensure that the company and customers’ objectives are met in a timely manner.
• Selling products within recommended prices and discounts as per Company policy.
• Managing debtors according to the company credit policy.
• Managing the selling and stock pipeline process for each order received and updating customers on the status of their order at every stage.
• Understanding of the market segments and the customer’s requirements, while keeping abreast of changing customer needs and addressing them accordingly.

Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in a Business related field or Engineering;
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales (
preferably large equipment
);
• Must be fluent in English and be an effective communicator with customers;
• Adoptability and willingness to learn with respect to understanding local market/customers;
• Strong display of value selling, credit management and deal closing;
• Demonstrable ability to be organized and to influence outcomes.
