The successful candidate will be accountable for the day to day finance activities, accounting activities, financial functions, Internal Control, Cash Flow, SAP systems of the company, team manage and report accurate financial results. He/she
must
have at least
10 years’
experience in the field of Finance, Accounts and Auditing of a big size
manufacturing organization. Must have experience working with SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of daily Financial, Operational reports & Cash flow report.
Daily collection follows up.
Daily data entry check in SAP and confirm the system is updated daily with the team.
Checking all documents (PO, GRN, DN, Invoice knocking off) before processing any payment.
Preparation of cheque after confirming all documents (PO, Invoice, SOA, GRN & DO) are attached.
Preparation of daily Financial, Operational reports & Cash flow report.
Weekly review of all ledgers including non-posting group GL and rectification with Team before month-end.
Supervision & guide the finance team and confirm they are doing their responsibilities in time.
Review of Trial Balance and rectification of incorrect entry.
Closing of accounts in SAP (Cash, Bank, Invoice, PO, Stores, expenses, sales invoicing & Consumption).
Posting of monthly JV by yourself (provisions-Expenses, Depreciation, adjustment, Customer debit note & credit note, Salary) in SAP.
Month-end Reconciliation and preparation of reports: Inventory, Bank, Cash, Customer balance, Vendor balance.
Monthly statutory compliance (Payroll tax, corporate tax, deductions).
Preparation of monthly Financial Statements (PL, BS, CF, all schedules).
Preparation of monthly Variance Analysis between budgeted and actuals, with an explanation.
Monthly physical stock counts with Teams, preparation of reconciliation with system quantity.
Quarterly 100% balance confirmation on all Customers and vendors.
Preparation of intercompany reconciliation at the end of every month.
Responsible to prepare for a proposal for a Cost reduction plan.
Preparation of schedules of annual statutory Audit and for other parties as required.
Directly day to day involvement in SAP implementation, budget preparation & Implementation, and implementation of Finance policies and MIS.
Manage day to day operations of the existing cost accounting function from the management of current rates to monthly close & analysis.
Qualifications:
Must
have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Master's degree in Commerce.
Must
have accounting Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA/CMA).
At least
10 years’
experience in the field of Finance, Accounts and Auditing of a big size
manufacturing organization.
Must
have experience working with
Strong Analytical Skills.
Problem identification and solving skills.
Excellent communication skills & ability to work under pressure.
Monthly Gross Salary:
Kshs. 300,000 – 500,000 (Approx. 3,000 – 5,000 USD) depending on skills and experience.
