Senior Interior Designer ( Corporate Office Interiors)

A leading Kenyan Interior Design firm is looking for a Senior Interior Designer who is highly experienced and responsible for managing multiple projects ranging from small to large sized projects of basic to complex scope with minimal supervision. This Senior Interior Designer is responsible for the highest level of Interior Design outcomes, completing projects with accuracy and creativity while monitoring project performance within contract hours and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSB.A (Interior Design) M.A (Interior Design)

7 Years relevant work experience .

Knowledge of Revit and BIM is an added advantage.

Good written and verbal communicator.

Work as a contributing Team member and mentor.

Promote use of technologies to capture efficiencies and advancements.

Self-motivated and able to take responsibility

Able demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work as part of an effective team assisting and supporting team members

Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work effectively under pressure

Understanding of the designers’ role in the co-ordination and integration of project
information and management
Able to deal with the management of junior & intermediate designers on the team

Responsibilities

Manage the design process

Receiving and evaluating briefs from the Clients

Participate in design, conceptualization and development

Attending periodic site meetings/ inspections to ensure design concepts translate into the actual work

Client relationship management

Collate, source, assemble and present interior design images, visuals and materials to clients.

Carry out research on designs and collate information that is relevant to the project

Carry out any other duties as required from time to time commensurate with the role.
