Senior Internal Auditor

Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC), is a Development FinanceInstitution (DFI) with over 60 years of experience in promoting projects that create wealthand jobs for Kenyans in diverse sectors of the economy. ICDC supports projects in theManufacturing, Agro-processing, ICT Infrastructure and software development andEnergy sectors towards the realization of the Government’s Big Four Agenda. ICDC in itsstrategic move to support its mandate and attain planned growth seeks to recruit aninnovative, transformational and result-driven individual with a high level of integrity whowill assist the Corporation in the achievement of its mandate and strategic objectives.
Job Qualifications

At least five (5) years relevant work experience
Certified qualification in; Financial Analyst (CFA), Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA), (CPA (K), Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA (UK) or Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) or its equivalent Certified Information System Auditors (C.I.S.A).

Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce (Accounting option); Commerce (Finance option); Business related field or any other relevant field of study from a recognized Institution.

Member of the institute of certified public accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) or any other relevant professional body.

Responsibilities

Carrying out internal audit assignments in line with Audit Standards and annual internal audit work plans and make appropriate recommendations

Performing post-audit reviews to determine the extent to which audit recommendations have been implemented

Examining and evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness, and reliability of the Corporation's financial, operating and internal control systems Undertaking special audit investigations

Carrying out audit follow-ups on implementation of recommendations

Preparing audit reports

Any other responsibilities as may be necessary to achieve the Corporation's objectives
