A bit about the role:
The Construction & Maintenance Relationship Manager manages relationships with major clients requiring maintenance and refurbishment services. S/he conducts site visits to assess and quote for projects, and project manages subsequent works. S/he develops existing accounts through excellent client management, and develops new relationships with new clients.

You are a people person, who manages clients fantastically. You create trust, as well as being able to sell. You are a quality project manager who has experience in the construction and/or maintenance industry. You are highly organized, you think creatively, and are quick on your feet. Most importantly, you like to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

Responsibilities

Relationship Management & business development
Develop client relationships and build size of accounts

Identify opportunities for upselling and growing existing partnerships

Pitch to new clients and take on accounts handed over

Prepare regular reports, host monthly meetings, and identify other opportunities to improve account relationship

Providing regular updates on ongoing projects and maintenance

Ensuring client feedback is received and following up on action required

Project management & Maintenance

Coordinate requests from a variety of business clients

Inspect properties to identify maintenance requirements

Provide assessments and quotes for relevant projects

Project management and supervising and coordinating work of fundis and contractors;

Using Lynk’s existing worker database and technology, identify the right Pros for specific jobs

Preparation of contracts

Where required, coordinate with other teams to get technical drawings, project management support, additional expertise, and more

Identify solutions when things go wrong, and provide hands-on support

Finance and administration
Ensuring that invoices are delivered on time by the Finance department

Resolving finance or admin issues related to the partnership

Management of client budgets in the delivery of Facilities Management activities

Successful candidates will have all or most of these qualifications:
3-5 years of practical experience as a project manager, property/facility manager or working on construction projects

BA/BSc in Construction Management, Real Estate, or similar relevant area

Experience of managing projects

Experience managing client relationships

Experience selling

Excellent written English

Able to work across a variety of functions, and for things you don’t know you’re eager to get your hands dirty and figure it out.
