You are the expert in the social media field, both organic and paid;
You are aware of the latest updates on the social media channels;
You have experience with social media management systems;
You are analytical and make choices based on figures and not just because it is fun in the feed;
You have a good pen and you understand the tone of voice of Charlie's Travels;
It is an advantage if you know tools such as Slack or Flow;
You are willing to come to Nairobi or Kampala and stay here for a longer time;
You have experience with traveling in Africa. It is an advantage if you have already worked in the travel industry.
Analyze good results and bad results in posts and adds (also request input from colleagues). Analyze required posts;
Editing content that comes in for posts and ads: giving feedback, making adjustments;
Writing and creating posts, ads, stories, etc., whereby use is made of the content via the content manager;
Plan, post and push organic posts and ads. Use the content manager's content. Keeping colleagues informed through a social media calendar.
Community management: respond to all messages and responses that come in;
Stakeholder management: sharing planning and results with Charlie and the rest of the company ..
Develop social media strategy per channel within the strategy of the company and marketing, based on the requirements in all communication with customers;
Create and manage Social Media brand style guide
: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 3 years
