As a Kitchen Steward, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and attention to detail to ensure to support our culinary operations to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. If you have experience in dishwashing, stewarding or cleaning and have the skills to lead and inspire others, our Stewarding team wants to meet you!
Previous experience is an asset

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
A frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.

Reporting to the Chief Steward:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Assist the stewarding management team in the leadership of the stewarding department including participation in training, scheduling and coaching
Conduct a daily line-up with all colleagues to pass on events and information
Ensure that you complete all duties associated with your assigned area of responsibility
Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all equipment in the kitchens and dishwashing areas are clean and in good working order, and report any deficiencies
Enforce a safe work environment for all colleagues and guests by upholding the safety rules provided by the Fairmont Empress and the stewarding department
