Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns in NICU.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate specialized neonatal equipment such as ventilators and incubators.
Provide direct care to neonates in the nursery and NHDU.
Assist doctors and specialists in neonatal procedures and interventions.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication during patient handovers.
Support family-centered care by educating and guiding parents on newborn care.
Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
Participate in departmental quality improvement and training activities.

Qualifications
Diploma- KRCHN, KRN/KRM or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized institution.
Valid registration and practicing license with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Higher Diploma or training in Neonatal Nursing / Critical Care is an added advantage.
At least 2 years' experience in NICU or neonatal care in a hospital setting.
