The Program Coordinator will provide strategic and operational leadership for the successful implementation of all HOK programs and activities under the Social Wellbeing and Sustainable Livelihood program areas. They will coordinate planning, oversee day-to-day implementation, ensure high-quality delivery, foster partnerships, and support fundraising and reporting efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination and Implementation
Lead the development and execution of detailed program workplans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate and supervise the implementation of all program activities, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Lead co-creation processes with stakeholders, including beneficiaries, communities, and partners.
Ensure effective integration of sports, life skills, and psychosocial support in program delivery.
Team Management and Supervision
Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the implementation team, including field officers, coaches, and trainers.
Facilitate regular team meetings, performance reviews, and capacity-building sessions.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of learning and innovation.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
Work with the MEAL team to track performance indicators, collect and analyze data, and document lessons learned.

Promote beneficiary feedback and participation in ongoing program improvement.
Partnerships and Representation
Represent HOK in stakeholder engagements, community forums, and partner meetings.
Strengthen relationships with local and international partners, government agencies, and donor representatives.
Proactively identify and pursue new partnership and collaboration opportunities.
Reporting and Fundraising
Prepare high-quality narrative and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support resource mobilization efforts, including proposal writing and donor engagement.
Maintain compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Sports Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience coordinating donor-funded projects, preferably in youth development, sports for change, or community empowerment programs.
Proven experience in managing teams, partnerships, and donor reporting.
Strong understanding of project cycle management, budgeting, and MEAL frameworks.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations, especially youth.

The Project Intern – Sustainable Livelihoods will support the implementation of HOK's Sustainable Livelihoods Program by contributing to entrepreneurship support services, training coordination, participant engagement, and impact documentation. Working under the guidance of the Program Coordinator – Sustainable Livelihoods, the intern will engage directly with program participants—particularly women and youth—to help strengthen green and circular enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation Support
Supporting the identification, outreach, and onboarding of program participants, particularly youth, women, and informal sector entrepreneurs across green and circular economy sectors.
Supporting the coordination and facilitation of training sessions, mentorship activities, and peer learning engagements.
Assisting entrepreneurs in applying practical business tools such as budgeting templates, business model canvases, and marketing strategies.
Helping track the progress of supported enterprises, including business growth, job creation, and product development.
Supporting entrepreneurs with access to markets through preparation for trade fairs, exhibitions, and digital platform onboarding.

Qualifications and Experience
A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce, Project Management, development , Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
Demonstrated interest in social entrepreneurship, the green and circular economy, or community-based enterprise development..
Digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and online research tools.
Some experience (volunteering, coursework, or fieldwork) in working with community-based entrepreneurs, informal sector workers, and small business owners. is an added advantage.
