1.0 PURPOSE OF THE JOB (JOB SUMMARY)
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of the Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Management.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties and responsibilities will entail:
i) Preparing and keeping an up to date inventory register;
ii) Ensuring inspection and acceptance of goods procured using low value procurement method;
iii) Controlling stock and inventory;
iv) Coordinating and controlling order cycle;
v) Carrying out continuous stock checking;
vi) Taking goods on charge upon receipt;
vii) Updating stock control cards; and
viii) Issuing goods to user departments.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
i) Bachelor’s degree in either Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (Supplies Management option) or Commerce (Supplies Management option) or its equivalent qualifications from recognized and accredited institution;
OR
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field/ social sciences plus a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution; and
ii) Proficiency in computer applications.

Terms of Offer:
An attractive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position will be negotiated with the successful candidate. Successful candidates in job gradesPCF2andPCF3will beengaged on a five (5) years contractrenewablebased on performance.

• Tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority;
• Clearance Certificate from Higher Educations Loans Board;
• Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
• Clearance from an approved Credit Reference Bureau;
• National Identity Card.
