What you'll be doing:
? Lead the demand & supply planning team to drive customer service, within the correct inventory and cost
targets.
? Contribute to the overall Supply Chain objectives through KPI delivery, monitoring and taking corrective
action where there are deviations.
? Building strong relationships with supplying units to drive efficiencies and optimization through the end to end
supply chain
? Coordinates both Avon Justine CTF and Avon Justine F&H monthly forecasting process through gathering
and critiquing of the data
? Participation in all forums supporting the IBP process
? Eliminate BIAS from the forecasting process completely.
? Leads Avon Justine CFT and Avon Justine F&H Supply Planning through Integrated Business Planning
Process.
? Insists on the implementation and use of processes + measures for all activities.
? Manage product supply from contract manufacturers through stakeholder engagement, and analysis of
demonstrated capacity to determine future supply risks & opportunities, and mitigation & exploitation plans.
Provide a robust planning system which will allow for
the integration of demand and supply planning
Create an integrated planning platform at both a tactical and operational level to optimize key business objectives which will include service levels, profit, and
cash.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure demand and supply planning processes are adhered to, where there are process gaps, recommend processes to the organization.
Support the planners in ensuring best practices are implemented and executed according to Avon guidelines
Facilitate and co-lead the demand review forum and feeder processes through stakeholder management and engagement
Facilitate & co-lead the supply review forum and feeder processes through stakeholder management and engagement
Deliver reports which create transparency of KPI’s vs targets with clear commentary explaining exceptions / deviations and corrective actions.
Actively participate in all organizational initiatives and projects aimed at improving business processes and technological advancement.
Manage product supply and operational planning processes with all supplying units, including local contract manufacturers.
Implement appropriate daily & weekly meetings within operations to support execution of operational plans.
Establish collaboration and cross-functional relationships with all related functions within the organization.
Drive team performance through coaching, and by building a culture of empowerment and stakeholder management
We'd love you to have:
3- or 4-year diploma / degree majoring in logistics management or industrial engineering/ APICS qualification.
3-5 years’ experience at a senior planning or managerial level
Strong IT / software understanding
Strong understanding of integrated demand/supply planning
Very good understanding of S&OP (including demand forecasting, Distribution resource planning, Factory master schedules, Material requirement plans)
An in-depth understanding of continuous improvement tools or techniques
Understanding written meaning and reasoning logically with data is essential at a complex level
Understanding of root cause analysis techniques
Well-developed leadership and people skills
Decision making ability based on supporting data
Can establish teamwork across process boundaries to eliminate suspicions and improve work ethics
Understands manufacturing and people
Sound understanding of planning activities and a good knowledge of the system
Good understanding of Customer and Supplier relationships
Understands the Business, Markets and Competition
