Job Summary
Operates Tea Packaging machines for the weighing, blending and packaging of teas and performs tea blending and packaging set-up using established procedures as guidelines and making adjustments as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities
Operate automatic packaging machines.
Care and maintenance of the machines.
Update all the machines checklists.
Keep records and accounts of what has been packed and blended on daily basis.
Do housekeeping at workstation.
Inspects bags to ensure they are the correct weight and the sealing is good and to send them back if they don’t pass inspection.
Knowledge in food safety management systems, firefighting and first aid is an added advantage.
Good verbal and written communication
Ability to work without constant supervision.
Must comply with company policy and manufacturing practice, providing a good example for others.
Willingness to work outside working hours when need be.
Educational requirementsfor the tea machine operators.
Diploma , higher diploma or degree in machine operations preferably in tea environment.
A diploma in mechanical engineering is also acceptable.
Experience
2 years and above experience in tea packaging or tea processing.
