Technical Process Manager

To assure total quality of all production results in accordance with set customer specifications, GSPP production standards and ensure that all the production processes from nursery to final product follow the set guidelines. Responsible for assuring good pollen viability testing and analyzing in the laboratory and efficient management of production trials.

Responsibilities

• To maintain the local activity of viability tests of the pepper and tomato pollen and manage produciton trials (observation, evaluations and data analysis)
• Prepare general pollen samples collection work plan

• Do a good bit of lab work, analyzing samples and growing cultures for pollen examination

• Maintains lab safety equipment, proper labeling, storage, and MSDS sheets for chemicals and be conversant with the use of microscope and lab protocols.

• Maintains cleanliness of the laboratory, all instruments and supplies.

• Enter and manage data, quality control of data, some data processing.

• Preparation of samples, instrument loading, instrument operation, data review and report generation.

• Prepares periodic production reports on the results of pollen analyzed and disseminates to the relevant stakeholders

• Ensure that the plants are grown and fed under the right conditions to ensure quality of the products to satisfy the customer requirements.

• Drives innovation by identifying areas of improvement in the production methods/processes for improvement and assure communication of the same

• Assures compliance of all the laid down protocols across production and related processes (nursery to customer level) through continuous follow ups to assure the customer that the product produced conforms to the set certification guidelines

• Enforces the HSE and GSPP rules and regulations and champions the implementation of HMC HSE and GSPP policy and standards

• Any other tasks and projects as may be allocated from time to time

Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 5 years

Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
