The Training Officer is charged with the responsibility of recruiting, vetting and training of deserving candidates for certification in security guarding force for internal recruitment into the company.
The Officer shall also ensure continuous training of security personnel and staff on modern security trends on risk and threat and pro-activeness in security matters.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE.
A minimum of 3 yrs experience as a training officer in the security industry.
The candidate should meet the qualifications for a Training Officer as set out in the draft PSRA Training Curriculum Syllabus (July 2019)
Ability to pass knowledge to others
Skills in content delivery methodologies
Skills in record keeping
Ability to do research
Drive guard recruitment process
Prepare and provide training budget
Conduct regular reviews and evaluation on trainings conducted
Undertake TNA and conduct refresher training of guards and company staff
Develop and align training manuals to PSRA Act and general regulations
Ensures adherence to PSRA Act (2016) on matters to do with training
Maintain an up to date record of the trainings facilitated.
Delivers security training to our target customers when need arises
Participates in development of Training Services for target customers
Coordinate pass-out parades and arrange PSRA Testing for the candidates
Any other duty as may be allocated from time to time
: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 3 years
