Details of the offer

1. Served in the grade of Chief Administrative Officer for a minimum period for a minimum period of three years or in a comparable and equivalent position in the public service or private sector.
2. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines- Public Administration; Business Administration/ Management; Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution.
OR
Diploma in any of the following disciplines- Public Administration; Business Administration/ Management; Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution.
3. Certificate in management course from a recognized institution
4. Have knowledge of ICT.
5. Knowledge about the County of Government Siaya with focus on administration.
6. Meet the requirement of the Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Responsibilities

1. The development of policies and plans;
2. Service delivery;
3. Developmental activities to empower the community;
4. The provision and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of public services;
5. Exercise any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under section 86; and
6. Coordination and facilitation of citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services.
7. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
