Monitoring and tracking Raw materials, Work-In-Progress throughout the processing stage while ensuring that proper records are maintained for accountability and traceability purposes
Responsibilities (Functions and duties):
1. Receiving of high quality and accurate quantity raw materials from suppliers as per the approved LPO
2. Issuing of raw materials from the Raw Material Store as per the Milling Plan
3. Tracking of material movement at each conversion stage from milling, mixing and production
4. Weekly raw materials and WIP spot checks
5. Daily reconciliation of material consumption against issuance
6. Track product formulations to ensure component parameters are observed
7. Monitor repacks and re-works across the processing stages to assess material consumption against the Production Plan
8. Track and monitor by-products through the milling process
9. Observe the quantity of items issued and received from Milling to Production; and account on anomalies identified
10. Ensure 5S is adhered to in all materials storage areas with proper arrangement and labelling
11. Ensure and uphold material requisition records for traceability purposes
12. Participation in monthly stock take and follow up on variances identified through update of material flow reports
13. Any other duties not necessarily mentioned which are in line with an Inventory Clerk

Experience:
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in Stores Management in a manufacturing setup. Experience in the FMCG will be an added advantage
Education and specialist Knowledge Required:
• Degree/ Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management/ Inventory Control & Management or relevant field
• Computer proficiency especially Excel
