Purpose for the position
Overall responsibility for stock inward & outward
Manage day to day manufacturing operations
Timely scheduling & planning of all deliveries and collection
Objectives
Manage warehouse staff, Trucks and machinery
Oversee security and administrative functions in dispatch office
Ensuring products & Services meet customer expectations
Plan, direct or coordinate warehouse & Dispatch activities
Manage quality & productivity in the manufacturing department
Responsibilities
Lead and manage staff in the manufacturing warehousing & dispatch department.
Manage Fire alarm and security check out in the Business Premises
Ensure compliance to all health & safety and risk policies of the company.
Ensure products are in sound condition, safety and accuracy are maintained during loading.
Managing movement of stocks in/out within the business and manage stock and waste management.
Coordinate and oversee delivering and Dispatch departments to ensure effective / optimum flow of goods.
Plan work of employees, identify work schedules, manage attendance and leaves
Put in controls and monitor staff movement and behavior in order to avoid acts of theft and fraud
Manage process of police reports and court hearing for staff theft and fraud
Managing staff responsibility and disciplinary issues.
Issue written disciplinary warnings for acts of misconduct and report the same to management & HR for record purpose
Communicating with branch manager & sales on order updates, delays or status of manufactured & trade orders.
Ensure that all delivery documentation is correct and acknowledged by receiving parties.
Maintain safety and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and that comply with legal regulations (Housekeeping)
Ensure machines are maintained & cleaned as per procedure
Ensure that staff are following laid down procedures for handling materials and working on machines
Planning & sequencing of orders to be manufactured
Measuring and driving production output against targets
Perform any other duties as required by management.

Strong in warehouse Control and decision-making skills.
Work Experience
5 years in warehouse & production management t ideally in the furniture Industry working with wood based panels
Academic Qualification
Inventory Management
Technical qualification or Degree in production/operation
Professional Qualifications/Skills
Computer literate
Strong administrative experience
Strong skills in people management
